Content SummaryAn adaptation of Qazwīnī’s and other cosmographies, notably Muhammad Ṭūsī’s ʿAcāib al-maḥlūḳāt. Contains chapters relating the marvels (‘ajā’ib) of the heavens, fire, earth (including seas, rivers, mountains and minerals), famous cities (including mosques and churches), trees and plants, talismanic sculptures, man, jinn and demons, birds and monsters of land and of sea. Furthermore, there are chapters on medicine, alchemy, nutriment, but also miracles and divination.
