Content Summary | The purpose of the work, which was written in accordance with the Siyasetname tradition, was that Grand Vizier İzzet Mehmet Pasha asked Abdullah Halim Efendi to offer advices on him for his duties. Chapter 3 deals with various crimes and punishments, such as the prosecution of women who practice magic. Chapter 6 again contains fatwas and states that those who practice magic and those who make a habit of it should be killed. The text mentions that it is not right to seek help from the graves of evliyas and that it is not permissible to sacrifice for evliyas. It is also mentioned that it is not right for Sufis to perform dances (raks), and to act on dreams. |
