Content SummaryThis famous cosmology from the second half of the fifteenth century has the form of an ʿacāib-styled cosmography, with descriptions of the heavens, the earth with its mountains, rivers etc., the fauna and flora; it also displays a strong eschatological flavor, with chapters on the signs of the End of Days and a peculiar chapter on cifr based explicitly on Bisṭāmī’s work.
