Ethan L. Menchinger is Lecturer at the Department of History of the University of Manchester. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan (2014). He was a 2014/15 fellow in the program “Europe in the Middle East – the Middle East in Europe” at the Forum Transregionale Studien in Berlin, a 2015/16 visiting scholar at the University of Toronto, and a research associate at the University of Michigan.
