Aslı Niyazioğlu
Aslı Niyazioğlu is Associate Professor in Ottoman History at the University of Oxford specializing in the history of dreams, literature and life-writing. Her current project for the GHOST, entitled Urban Talismans and Early Modern Istanbul, explores the role of imagination in the making of Ottoman urban communities from the late fifteenth to the early eighteenth centuries.
